Here is a quick, and fun project for you, that will keep your children's special school papers organized. It took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
1. I started with a basic portable file box from Staples and a box of hanging file folders.
2. Next, I created labels - Kindergarten through 12th grade. If you prefer, you could add the preschool years as well. As you can see, even our cat Leah had fun "helping" with the project.
3. All that I had left, was to put it together, add a label to the front, and voila! I have created these file boxes for several of my clients over the years. Since I made this one for an upcoming presentation, I kept it generic. To personalize the file box, you could add your child's name on the front.
Just think how great it will be, to pull out their file box at graduation time! You will be able to create a fun look back at your child's school years. Be sure to save all report cards, special awards, and any memorable homework assignments, or essays. It's so much fun to look back once in a while! I especially enjoyed the papers my daughter brought home in her early years...you know, those fill-in-the-blank ones, like ...what is your family like...so funny! :)
